Sale, installation and maintenance (annual) of all types of fire extinguishers, including their loading (every 5 years for chemical powder fire extinguishers and water with additives) or whenever the fire extinguisher is used. NP4413 contains all information related to fire extinguishers.
Studies refer to the possibility that houses could suffer a fire every fifteen years or an average of five fires during their entire existence. The probability of one of these fires being of considerable size and requiring even the intervention of firefighters is 25%.
Many of these fires occur in kitchens while meals are being prepared, due to unsafe behavior or distraction. Others are caused by smoking or the use of electronic equipment in poor condition. This results, not only in the loss of assets, but more serious, in the loss of human life.
The only way to avoid these types of situations is through prevention and the adoption of safe behaviors. In addition, it is essential to ensure that the buildings are equipped with fire-fighting equipment and that the occupants of the buildings know how to use the first intervention equipment that exists there. Only in this way will it be possible to extinguish a fire in its initial phase and, consequently, prevent it from reaching proportions that lead to the loss of human life and property.

Emergency and/or Informational Signaling (Ordinance No. 1532/2008) Art. 108 – 112
It is important to highlight the identification of firefighting means (extinguishers, reels, blankets, etc.) and evacuation routes/exits through adequate emergency signage.
The information contained in emergency signs must be made available to all persons to whom this information is essential in a situation of danger or prevention of a danger.
In people’s line of sight, there should be no signs, advertising or otherwise, or other objects, which, due to the intensity of their lighting or their shape, colors or dimensions, could hide the signaling devices or mislead the occupants, confusing them.
Signposts indicate prohibition, danger, emergency and means of intervention, respectively, depending on their shape and color, and must be made of rigid photoluminescent material.
Sale and installation of emergency or informational photoluminescent signage, including the supply of Emergency Plants.
